Potrero Stage: PlayGround Center for New Plays is a 99-seat state-of-the-art performance space and shared community resource located at 1695 18th Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, operated by PlayGround, and serving as home to some of the Bay Area’s leading new play developers and producers. Rates
If you have a project (full production, workshop, or reading), our space is available at reasonable rates!
– Nonprofit organizations receive over 50% off our already low weekly rental rates
– First-time producers and mico-organizations may be able to access introductory pricing alongside a box office-split model
– With the generous support of the San Francisco Arts Commission, Native American/Indigenous and Black artists may be able to access our space for free
Potrero Stage nonprofit licensing fees are $1,000 per day or $3,000 per week. Commercial licensing fees are $2,500 per day or $8,000 per week. Significant weekly discounts may be available for multi-week licensing confirmed more than eighteen (18) months or less than three (3) months in advance.
Tech Specs & Rental Agreement
In addition to a state-of-the art blackbox space, Potrero Stage also offers:
– Video recording and simulcast services for your project
– Full box office and ticketing support
– Marketing support via email, social media, and on-site signage
– Access to top designers/technicians/house managers/broadcasters with Potrero Stage experience
