November 18 Monday Night PlayGround: Dreams & Nightmares

Each month, from October through March, PlayGround announces a topic to a pre-selected writers pool of Bay Area emerging professional playwrights, inviting submissions of original ten-page plays. The top short plays are selected and presented as script-in-hand staged readings on the third Monday of the month, featuring some of the Bay Area’s best directors and actors. All performances are offered in-person and live simulcast, as well as admission-free (donations gratefully accepted), for maximum accessibility.

Knock Knock by Daniel Martinez Jr.
Jenny’s dream has always been starting a wedding planning business with her mother. It’s their first wedding together, and a mysterious knock at the door brings a truth that Jenny isn’t ready to face yet.
