Potrero Stage Rental Opportunities

Looking for a venue for your next production? Potrero Stage: PlayGround Center for New Plays is a fully-equipped 99-seat state-of-the-art black box theatre, operated by PlayGround, and serving as home to some of the Bay Area’s leading new play developers and producers, including PlayGround, Crowded Fire, Golden Thread, and Playwrights Foundation, among others. The theatre, formerly known as Thick House and located in the heart of San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, underwent a thorough renovation last winter and now features new air conditioning, seating, upgraded LED theatre lighting system, renovated lobby and restrooms, new website, and new integrated ticketing system. Commercial rental rates are $2000/day and $5000/week and nonprofit rentals start at $500/day and $2000/week.

While the theatre is largely booked for 2017-18, Potrero Stage has availability for the following weeks, with preference given to multi-week rentals. Special discounts are available for rentals of three weeks or more taking place between December 2017 and April 2018.
